Choosing a DJ for your party or event is an important decision. We hope that we can help answer a few questions that you may have about our group and hopefully give you the information you need to make an informed decision when choosing the DJ that is right for you and your guests. • Why Should we hire Impact Sounds?

  Impact Sounds 12 years of experience makes us one of the Top DJ groups in the San Francisco, Bay Area. With our experienced technical staff, crowd moving emcee and musically versatile DJs, you can be sure to fully depend on us to make your special event conclude as an especial event.

• How are you different from other DJ's?

  Impact Sounds prides itself on being a full entertainment solution for your party. We have added many services that other DJs do not offer, such as the photobooth audio video, and event lighting. We also bring 2-3 man crews to every party to ensure there is no stoppage in the music. Our staff is well trained on providing many genres of music and we have one of the best music collections ever assembled.

• What time will you arrive for my event?

  We will arrive 1 - 1.5 hours in advance for setup.

• How far do you travel to perform at a party?

  Although we are based out of San Francisco, we are able to travel as far north as Napa Valley, As far east as Sacramento, and as far south as Carmel.

• How much is the deposit?

  We ask for a $200 deposit to reserve the date of your party. If for any reason you need to cancel, the deposit will be forfeited. If you need our photobooth services, that will also be an additional $200 deposit.

• Can we see you perform at another event?

  Out of respect for my client's privacy, I do not invite anyone to view my events. But I invite you to check out my website where you will find great information, pictures, and video of my past parties.

• What equipment is provided in the basic package?

  Impact Sounds basic package includes 2 pro speakers, 1 turntable setup, 1 wireless microphone, catalog of over 20,000 songs of all genres, and disco dance lighting.

• How Long Does it Take for Impact Sounds to setup? Do you charge for Setup Time?

  We usually take one hour to setup, although Impact Sounds normally shows up one and half hours before hand to make sure everything is functioning. We do not charge for setup time, we only charge for the amount of time that we are performing.

• Can we bring our own cds for you to play?

  Yes. We are able to play audio from CDs, mp3s, and ipods. Please notify us before the party date and we will bring the correct plugs for the device.

• I'm having a Wedding, can you help coordinate the reception?

  Yes. We work many Weddings each year and always have felt that a party flows better when the DJs are involved. We can definitely help with organizing the night, making announcements, and making sure everything runs on time.

• Can you provide a projector and screen?

  Impact Sounds Audio Visual package can provide a projector and screen that is very affordable and does not sacrafice on features or quality. Our Panasonic 2000 Lumens Widescreen HD Projector is a beast. This projector is designed with high brightness and vibrant colors, perfect for your presentations. If audio is needed with the presentation, the feed can be connected to our sound system. We do prefer that you bring your own laptop or dvd player to make sure that CD/DVD is tested and plays without a problem.

• What other services other than DJing can you provide?

  Impact Sounds currently can offer many services to enhance your party. This includes our brand new Photobooth services. Great fun for school dances, birthday parties, and Weddings. Other services that we offer are Ambient Event Lighting to enhance and change the environment of the room, monogram lighting to project your names or logo, and photography to help capture your magical moments.
